Ruth P. Pitman, 79

NORTH FRYEBURG — Ruth P. Pitman, 79, passed away comfortably at her home in North Fryeburg, on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Jay Pitman; and her daughters, Kimberly Pitman, and Jaye (Pitman) Fabino.

Ruth is lovingly remembered by sisters Althea Pike and Rita Charles; brother Erlon Rugg; son Tim Pitman and wife Valarie; granddaughters, Morgan Wright, granddaughter Eva Fabino and her father Rob Fabino; granddaughter Kolby Pitman; grandson Tanner Pitman, great-grandson Mason Morrill; and many nieces,  nephews and other family members.

Ruth was a loyal and trusted employee at Fryeburg Healthcare Center for many, many years. She enjoyed feeding and watching the wild birds that came to her feeder. She also enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb.

She was self-sacrificing, always thinking of helping the other person. Faith and family were of the utmost importance to her. She was a dedicated servant to her God Jehovah for 55 plus years as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. These words barely scratch the surface in describing the wonderful woman she was and the lives she touched. We all will always love you Muv.

A memorial service for Ruth will be held at the Norway Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 603 Harrison Rd., Norway, at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 8.
