FRYEBURG — Stephen K. Perkins, 78, of Fryeburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, Aug. 7, 2019, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway.

He was born the middle of three children on Oct. 24, 1940, in Melrose, Mass., to Clarence A. and Nettie (Godkin) Perkins Sr. He attended schools in Melrose and after high school joined the Air Force.

He moved to Lovell in July of 1978. He worked at several car dealerships as a service manager in the Conway/North Conway, N.H. area until retirement.

He is survived by a son, Alan Perkins; two daughters, Ann Perkins and Jennifer Perkins; a stepdaughter Kelly Sweigart; two grandsons; a sister, Natalie Adams; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Clarence A. “Bud” Perkins Jr.; and a stepson, Robert M. Babine Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, at the No. 4 cemetery, Kimball Road, in Lovell.
