No shave zone, all for a good cause

Want to join the Bridgton Police Department in supporting a good cause?
As part of “No Shave November,” BPD officers will be growing beards and raising money for the Cumberland County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) — “your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support,” BPD wrote on its Facebook page.
The Cumberland County Children’s Advocacy Center models, promotes and delivers excellence in child abuse response and prevention through service, education and leadership. A team of professionals, including law enforcement, child protection and prosecutors, work together to make decisions about the investigation and management of child sexual abuse cases.
BPD plans to share some pictures on its Facebook page, and rumor has it that Chief Stillman “might even grow the whiskers out…”
