Bridgton town office reopens Monday; rules and how other towns are operating
Here’s an update regarding rules to follow to enter some area town offices and how towns plan to operate at this time:
Bridgton reopens on Monday, June 1. Public rules include:
• Total customers allowed in building: 5.
• Total non-employee attendees at Selectboard Meeting Room: 5.
• Selectboard Meeting Room meetings: Maximum of 15 attendees.
• Face masks will be required (Executive Order #49 FY 19/20). All visitors are required to wear a face mask (Executive Order #49 FY 19/20).
• Appointment Only: Code Office (803-9963); Community Development (803-9956); Finance Office (803-9957); Recreation Office (647-1126); Public Services (647-1127); Fire Chief (803- 9955); Police Department (647-8814); General Assistance (Tuesday/Thursday 9 to 11a.m., 803-9950); Assessor’s Agent (O’Donnell & Associates, Denis Berube 926-4044); Deputy Town Manager (803-9959); Town Manager (803-9958).
• High risk individuals only (over 65 years of age and people with underlaying medical conditions) between 8 and 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Appointments: Please wait outside the exterior entrance for staff.
• People are encouraged to transact town business on-line or by phone whenever possible.
Harrison reopened the town office on Monday, May 18. These rules are in effect:
• All public are to wear masks or face covering in the building until further notice.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 10 a.m. will be for citizens over 65 only.
• The town office will follow social distancing for all employee-to-employee and employee-to-public interactions including site visits and code enforcement inspections.
• Public entrance will now be located at the meeting room entrance. The main entrance will now become the public exit and employee only entrance. The tow is installing social distancing markers on the floor of the meeting room – allowing only six customers in line at a time. (Facial coverings required for service.)
• No public will be allowed into administrative office space without permission from the town manager.
• All public will sign in and be given a call notice card upon entering building for service.
• Code Enforcement/Assessing: All business for code enforcement/assessing will be either by phone or by appointment only.
Naples Town Office is open by appointment only! The office staff is available to assist customers who are not able to conduct municipal business online, through the mail and drop box, or on the phone. Please call 693-6364 to be assisted or schedule an appointment.
• Masks will be required in the Town Office. Hours: Monday 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., first and last Saturdays of the month 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Sebago — Due to COVID-19, the annual Town Meeting is being rescheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2020 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The annual Town Meeting will be first, followed by the School Budget meeting. Town elections and the School Budget validation will be held on July 14.
