John (Jack) W. Huether, 58, of Casco passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. 

He was born in Mt. Holly, N.J. on July 31, 1962, the son of Fritz and Mary Kiper Huether. He attended schools in Camden, N.J. and a three-year program at the vocational school in Pennsauken, N.J. John was a “jack of all trades,” he worked as a forklift operator at the shipyard, as a roofer since the age of 17 and a long-haul trucking helper. 

John is survived by his mother, Mary and stepfather, Darrell Roak of South Casco; his children, John, Jennifer and Jessie; nine grandchildren; his brothers and sisters Fritz, Michael, Nora, Diana, Marion, Laura, Gary and Alvin. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann; and brothers Raymond, Johnnie, Dwane and Lonnie. 

There will be no services at this time.
