Catherine A. Carsley, 65, of Bridgton, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born April 9, 1956, in Bridgton, the daughter of Richard and Irene (Daigneault) Carsley.

Catherine was a graduate of Lewiston High School, class of 1974. She ran a small day care out of her home after high school. She worked at Louis Chevrolet, now Emerson Chevrolet Buick of Auburn. For many years, she worked as a MIS manager for St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Later, she was a Lifeline coordinator based out of Maison Marcotte until retirement.

She was a very active and committed member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church in Mechanic Falls where she developed many friendships. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. She loved the ocean and enjoyed spending summers camping at Winslow Park and Campground in Freeport where she enjoyed kayaking.

Catherine is survived by a son Kevin Letourneau of Poland; a daughter Laura Auger of Sabattus; two brothers Leonard Carsley of Bridgton, James Carsley and wife Carline of Auburn; nieces Amy Carsley of Scarborough, Leslieanne Fadden-Carsley of Bridgton, Kristina Kugle of South Paris, and Diana Carsley-Cleveland of Fla., and nephews Andrew Carsley of Auburn, and Jonathan Carsley and wife Dottie and daughter Ava Carsley of Lewiston; grandnieces Desiree Grover and husband Daniel of Naples, and Kiara Gutierrez; grandnephew Evaristo Gutierrez of Bridgton; great-grandniece Nevaeh Manchester; great-grandnephews Carter and Daniel Grover Jr. and Jaden Manchester

She was predeceased by a sister-in-law Sandra Carsley in 2020; two infant children, daughter Linda-Jo at birth, and son Baby Boy at birth; father Richard L. Carsley in 1976 and moth-er Irene B. (Daigneault) Roy in 2016; stepfather, Peter J. Roy (2011), who raised her as his own.

Memorial visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 14 at the Chandler Funeral Home, 26 W. Dwinal Street, Mechanic Falls
