LEWISTON — Fred J. Henderson, 54, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021, at his home.

He was born August 3, 1967, in Norway the son of Fred D. and Betty (Wentworth) Henderson.

Fred attended Oxford Hills High School. He was a talented chef working at local establishments including Tom’s Homestead in Bridgton.

He enjoyed visits with his grandson Donovan. Friends and family remember Fred always singing and a joke ready for the telling. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting.

He is survived by his daughter Nicole “Nikki” Henderson; a grandson Donovan; his father Fred D. and Carol Henderson; his mother Betty Osnoe; two brothers Michael Henderson and Brian Henderson; two sisters Mary Mayberry and Jennifer Violette; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother Billy.
