SOUTH PARIS — It is with extreme sadness and peaceful heart that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and friend, Carol Baker on August 2, 2023.

Carol was born in Meriden, Conn., on December 30, 1935, to Albert and Mary Elizabeth Smith. Carol loved to travel, loved the Red Sox, was an excellent cook, but most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her children, daughter Sheila (Don), daughter Denise, and son Lester Baker Jr. (Wendy), daughter-in-law Diana, daughter-in-law Diane, and a beloved nephew Danny (Maryann).

She was predeceased by her husband Lester Baker Sr., son H. Dale, and son Robert.

As per Carol’s wishes, her services will be private.
