John L. Lamb
FRYEBURG — John L. Lamb, 82, was born to Dorothy Woodsome and Herman Lamb on May 23, 1941. He passed away on September 24, 2023.
As a young man, he worked for many years at a lumber yard in Harrison, before going to work at the Bridgton Knitting Mill, where he worked until it closed.
John enjoyed harness racing, watching deer and birds, making mischief with the nursing home staff, having a big stash of candy and especially seeing pictures of family. John had a good heart.
He never forgot a birthday and always called his sister Barbara to remind her, so she wouldn’t miss one.
John was predeceased by his parents, brother Linwood and brother-in-law Charlie Harmon.
He is survived by his sisters Barbara Harmon, Crystal Noether (Richard) Banyon and Eugenie (Bill) Ranck; nephew Bruce (Toni) Harmon, nieces Brenda Harmon and Deborah (Bud) Potts; grandnieces Heather Burnell, Holly Harmon and grandnephews James Wells and Joshua Wells; and many great grandnephews and great grandnieces.
It was John’s wish that there be no service.
