BRAG, public celebrate and dedicate new sports complex

CELEBRATING A LONG AWAITED MOMENT — Bridgton Recreation Advancement Group members, past and present, were joined by other local dignitaries and area residents Saturday officially opening the Kendal and Anna Ham Recreation Sports Complex. The ribbon-cutting ceremony kicked off a day full of dedications and youth games. It was a proud and very emotional moment for the Carter family of Casco with the unveiling of the Laurie Carter-Bergen Memorial Field sign.

TOUCHING TIME — Lyn Carter (right) hugs daughter, Jan, during the dedication of the Laurie Carter-Bergen Memorial Field. Laurie, Jan's twin, died a short time after giving birth to her daughter.
