Brian Penpraese, loving husband to Melissa L Penpraese and proud father to Dalton J. Penpraese, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020 at the age of 48. 

He was born on Sept. 9, 1972 in Massachusettes, son of John Penpraese and Ann Smalley. Brian and his family were long time Naples residents. He received an education in culinary arts at PRVTC in Portland. He worked at Sydneys, formally in Naples, as a chef for 14 years.

Friends and family remember him enthusiastic about his work and time with family enjoying snowmobiling, fishing and just enjoying a long afternoon on the boat in Sebago Lake. Simply just relaxing, swimming and relishing the robust summers here in Maine brought him such joy.

He is survived by not only his wife, son and parents, but a sister, Diane Penpraese, and a brother, Ray Smalley.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
