FRYEBURG — Caroline R. (Eastman) Panno, 79, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, with her daughters by her side.

She was born on March 15, 1940, in Fryeburg, the daughter of, George P. and Dorothy L. (Cummings) Eastman.

Caroline worked at several places during her life. Her most passionate thing to do was gardening. She loved to make fudge and was a professional yard-saler. She loved to knit and sew in her younger days. Family was most important to her. She loved to feed the birds and watch all the different kinds she attracted. She also looked forward to the Fryeburg Fair every year and parking cars. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she looked forward to it every year.

Caroline is survived by her two loving daughters, Debra Panno Brennan of Center Conway, N.H., and Sandra Panno Whitaker of Fryeburg; four amazing grandchildren and six great-grandchildren whom she adored very much; a brother, Robert Eastman; two sisters, Muriel Lord and Fay Parent; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Donald J. Panno; a sister, Nancy; three brothers, David, Roger and Raymond.

She will be missed by so many that knew her.

At Caroline’s request, services will be private. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fryeburg.
