Dennis Chadbourne Jr.

Dennis A. Chadbourne Jr., 71, of Melbourne Beach , Fla., passed away on November 29, 2020, of dementia.

Dennis was born in Bridgton on June 20,1949, to Dennis Chadbourne Sr. and Irene Bell Chadbourne (both deceased) of Bridgton. He graduated from Bridgton High School Class of 1967.

Dennis was a member of the Maine Army National Guard for six years in the early 70s, and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bridgton for a short time.

Dennis married L. Faye Pike on Dec. 23, 1970. Dennis and Faye resided in Bridgton un- til moving to Wells in 1990 and then to Springvale in 1997. Dennis worked for Central Maine Power for 35 years until his retirement in 2006.

Dennis had many hobbies and pastimes, he had a love for travel. One of his favorite destinations being Hawaii. He also enjoyed Maine beaches — he was an outdoorsman. He liked to ski, and taught his three grandsons how to ski at Shawnee Peak. He enjoyed music; his favorite of course was Elvis, and he looked forward to Fryeburg Fair every year. His greatest joy however was spending time with his family.

Dennis will be greatly missed by his family and friends, he will be remembered fondly for his ability to make people laugh, and his signature mischievous grin as they did.

Surviving Dennis is his daughter Kristine Rogers and her husband Patrick and their son Keegan, his son Jason and his wife Sarah, Jason’s former spouse Melissa, the mother of their two sons Benjamin and Joshua. Dennis is survived by his sister Berdice Whitney and her husband Gene of Harrison and Berdice’s son Chad, his brother-in-law Dale Pike and his wife Jill, of Franklin, Dale’s son Daniel Pike and their daughter Megan Lalinde. Also surviving Dennis is his brother-in-law Stan Harmon of Waterford, his son, Steve Harmon and his daughter, Natalie Veilleux; also his nephew Robert Tarbox of Florida.

Dennis was predeceased by his loving wife Faye; his sister Bonnie Haggett; sister-in-law Gail Harmon; and mother- in-law Phyllis Pike.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify friends and family in the future when a funeral service is scheduled.
