From collapsing sets to forgotten lines and endless blunders, chaos takes center stage in a way that guarantees entertainment for audiences of all ages.

Show dates also include this Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. and two shows on Saturday, April 12 at 2 and 7 p.m. Ticket prices are adults $10 and students/seniors 65-plus $5, and are only available at the door.

MEET THE CAST

Willow Butters

Junior from Naples

What is your role in the production, and how would you describe your character? I am playing Perkins aka Dennis. He is an aspiring actor. While he isn’t the best, he has his heart in it.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? I love spending time with the rest of the people in it.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? It’s a really unique play and unlike many comedies, you can’t predict what will happen next.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? My favorite scene is the end of Act II when Perkins keeps forgetting his line.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? The first time Sandra was carried off of the stage.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? Props are really tricky; knowing when to bring them on, set them down, pick them up, take them off. It’s especially tricky when multiple people have to handle the same prop.

Cam Fudge

Sophomore from Raymond

What is your role in the production and how would you describe your character? I play Robert and I describe him as a guy that’s just happy to be here.

What your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? Figuring out the funny scenes and interactions between characters were really fun.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? This show is very funny for all ages and I believe that everyone will laugh at something.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? My favorite scene is when Perkins forgets his line and we repeat the same part of the scene multiple times.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? I don’t think people realize that it’s a struggle to put on a show in many different ways.

Peyton Scarboro

Sophomore from Bridgton

What is your role in the production, and how would you describe your character? I play the role of Jonathan, a fool who can’t seem to stay dead.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? My favorite part of rehearsing is seeing my friends’ step into their roles. It’s amazing running through the show and seeing our character’s personalities come to life.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? I think the audience will enjoy this show’s humor. The show is filled with funny moments and long comedic pauses that I’m sure everyone will enjoy.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? One of my favorite scenes from the entire show is when Sandra and Annie are fighting with one another over their role.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? A funny moment I enjoyed from rehearsal is when I went on stage to perform my line and accidentally switched to a slightly Scottish accent.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? What people might not realize is how bad the burnout is. When you are doing lines or a scene over and over again, you begin to lose the enjoyment and drive you get.

Emma McKenney

Senior from East Baldwin

What is your role in the production, and how would you describe your character? My role in the production is Jonathan Colleymore. My character is a dead body who reacts to the movements and chaos around him.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? One of my favorite parts of rehearsing for this production are the actions I do. From Act One I go from being “dead”. Then in Act Two I am alive revealing who the actual murder is.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? One of the reasons why I think the audiences will enjoy this show is because it's a comedy, and the set is made to fall apart.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? One of my favorite scenes is in Act One, where I am lying down “dead” and everyone is hitting me with a tray, dropping stuff on me, spitting water on me, and stepping on my hand. Another scene that is my favorite is in Act Two at the very end; I get pants-ed.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? One of my memorable moments from rehearsals was watching the show come together.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? One of the things the audience might not realize is how hard to put on a show, especially timing and cues. With this show things are constantly falling, people might get hurt if they aren't paying attention.

Eva Fickett

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? I think audiences will enjoy this show because it’s very comedic and it’s not too long. It’s also good because there’s a lot of “breaking the 4th wall.”

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? My favorite line in show would have to be “You controlling brute, unhand me!” because from the beginning, it’s always made me laugh.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? A funny moment from rehearsals is the cast/backstage hands having to drag me through the window. My face always turns red from being thrown around.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? Putting on a show doesn’t just mean working with the actors and directors, there’s a whole team of people working extremely hard behind the scenes.

Greg Blackwell

Senior from Naples

What is your role in the production, and how would you describe your character? My role in this play is Max. He is basically a big nepo baby. He’s only in the show because his father is financing it. He is also an idiot who runs in to things all the time.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? Watching the show come together is always incredibly fun! Especially once the set starts being built and everyone starts to come into their own.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? This is a really funny show with a lot of great lines that I think will make the show very entertaining.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? “The tension in this house is. Oh, the tension in the…. Oh, it’s most, it’s tense.” The whole scene where Annie is forced to step in for Sandra is hilarious.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? Getting to act out the physical stunts like sword fighting was super fun and it is something I haven’t done very much of in other productions.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? People might not realize how quickly these shows are put together. The set often is not fully built until a week before the show starts running.

Lillie Orlowski

Freshman from Casco

What is your role in the production, and how would you describe your character? I have the role of Annie and I would describe her as a horrible actor and a so-so stage manager. She often cracks under pressure and she is very spontaneous.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? I’d say my favorite part of rehearsing is getting to know everyone a little better and watching the show slowly come together.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? I think that audiences will enjoy this show because it’s hilariously idiotic and has left the cast laughing.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? My favorite scene is probably when a few lines loop about five times due to one character forgetting his line. This causes the other actors to yell in his face and even throw a drink in his face.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? One of the funniest moments in rehearsal was when we were acting out the end of Act II. Zach, our Chris, pretended to die for a second time and let out an unsuspected whine which left everyone bursting with laughter.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? Something that people may not realize is how close the cast needs to be to perform well. In this play, there are a lot of physical moments which require comfort and chemistry to showcase well.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? They may not realize it is very stressful and there are a lot of small parts that come into one.

Kirey Prieshilia

Senior from Casco

What is your role in the production, and how would you describe your character? I play Taylor, the lighting and sound operator. She loves Duran Duran songs! She often finds it difficult to focus while doing something but she always tries her best to find a solution when something goes wrong.

What has been your favorite part of rehearsing for this production? My favorite part is laughing about the plot and dialogue as well as getting to know more about my castmates.

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? Two words; it’s funny.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? There’s a scene where a number of actors had to drink Scotch but they have to spit it out because it wasn’t actually Scotch. It was paint thinner.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? Our director, Rob, would always have various ways or games for warm-ups like Rochambeau. Warm-ups are my absolute favorite part of rehearsals.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? It’s not only about memorizing lines, blocking, or movement that is important but also how we need to build a good chemistry with the people who we’re working with in the production.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? A funny moment is when we ran lines and we would rush to the chaise lounge to be comfy. Also, our snack breaks are pretty fun!

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? People might not realize the toll that a show takes on you. After a weekend full of shows, you’re exhausted. It’s also very stressful as you’re trying to perfect a show for your community.

Do you have a favorite line or scene from the show? Why? My favorite scene in the show is the scene where they get stuck in a loop of repeating the same lines and actions. The scene seems like it would be easy, but I’ve seen my friends put in much work that I’ve come to like it over other scenes

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from rehearsals? My friends and I all took turns switching our glasses and took a lot of goofy pictures.

What’s something about putting on a show that people might not realize? Students put in a lot of effort outside of rehearsals and shows, and everything that happens has been thoroughly rehearsed and coordinated.

Brooklyn Cross

Why do you think audiences will enjoy this show? It’s super funny and there’s also a few audience participation parts in the show.
