Paul H. Mulherin, 61
NORTH FRYEBURG — Paul Harold Mulherin, 61, died suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, as the result of a tragic accident.
He was born on April 5, 1958, in No. Conway, N.H., and was a lifelong resident of North Fryeburg, Maine. He was the son of Roland “Pete” Mulherin and Miriam Gould Mulherin.
Paul graduated from Fryeburg Academy in 1976, and continued his education at Southern Maine Technical College, earning an associate’s degree in Business.
Paul’s business, “Pete's Garage,” has been well-known for over 50 years in North Fryeburg. He worked side by side with his father for many years, and when joined by his son RJ, three generations worked together daily. After his father “Pete” passed away Paul and RJ continued the family business and worked together every day.
He is survived by his fiancée Fran Adams; son Roland Mulherin II and fiancée Aindrea Dunleavy; daughter Jessica Mulherin; sisters, Bette Tibbetts and husband John, Dottie Johnson and husband Bob, and Alice Smith and husband Steve; brother-in-law Fred Goss; two granddaughters, Taryn and Kayleigh; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Roland and Miriam; and a sister, Judith Goss.
Paul enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and most of all, his camping trips with Fran and working side by side with his son.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m., at The Chapel Hall located at 3 No. Fryeburg Road, Fryeburg. Condolence messages may be left at www.woodfuneralhome.org
