Public workshop on Bridgton ordinance consolidation Tuesday
The Bridgton Planning Board and Bridgton Select Board will hold a joint workshop on Tuesday, July 20 at 5 p.m. at the Bridgton town offices. The Boards will review the proposed Bridgton Code of Land Use Ordinances and Regulations.
This proposed ordinance consolidates five existing land use ordinances/regulations into one: Site Plan Review, Land Use, Shoreland Zoning, and Building/Razing/Plumbing ordinances and the Subdivision Regulations. The objective of this consolidated code of ordinances is to reduce redundancy and conflicts between ordinances and create a document that is easy to use for the applicant, whether a small business owner, homeowner, or a major developer.
The public is welcome to attend.
