Reed K. Rickabaugh Jr., 59, passed away on April 25, 2020 at his home. 

He was born in Texas and after his father retired from the Air Force, lived in New Jersey most of life. About 20 years ago, he moved to Maine. Reed worked as an auto mechanic and drywall finisher. He loved to hunt, fish and the outdoors.

Reed is predeceased by his father, Reed K. Rickabaugh; his brother, Richard S. Rickabaugh, who died March 24; grandparents, Frank and Sara Rickabaugh and Armand and Doris Cloutier. 

He is survived by his mother, Leone (Lee) Rickabaugh; his daughters, Courtney Hileman and her son, Ty Michael, and Christina Rickabaugh; sister, Kimberly Crain Lauze and husband Normand and their daughter Cassandra Crain; uncles Robert Rickabaugh and Lorraine Coyle, Armand Cloutier; aunts, Priscille Cloutier and Joan Rickabaugh; cousins, Robert and Rachel Rickabaugh and their three sons, and Armand Cloutier, Jr.

A celebration of Reed’s life will be held at the same time as his brother, Richard Rickabaugh on June 13, 2020. (Since the brothers died one month and one day apart). The viewing will be held from 11 a.m to 1 p.m at the United Parish Congregational Church, 77 Main Street, Harrison. (It may be necessary to limit how many people can come inside at one time).

A church service will be held at 1 p.m. at United Parish Congregational Church in Harrison. Interment will be on the family plot at the Harrison Village Cemetery. 

As of present time, due to Covid-19, there will not be refreshments. 

In lieu of flowers, his family asks you to consider making a donation in his name to a charitable organization that you desire. 

Arrangements are in the care of Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco.
