The Bridgton Community Center has been awarded a Cumberland County Community Development Block Grant in cooperation with the Town of Bridgton to respond to COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Rent/Utility Relief Program is designed to provide rental and utility assistance to Bridgton residents that have had a loss or reduction of income due to COVID-19.

Rental Assistance is available for three consecutive months with initial application and monthly confirmation of no change in income from original application date. The amount for Rent/Utility funds available totals $63,219. 

Applications are available at the Bridgton Community Center, call 647-3116 or check BCC website at www.bridgtoncommunitycenter.org. 

Payments are made directly to landlords.

Who is eligible? Must be a Bridgton resident; must be a renter; rent payment was up to date through March 2020; must have a reduction in income due to COVID-19; current income must meet the income guidelines
