Robert A. Shortsleeves, 47

Robert A. Shortsleeves, 47, of Bridgton, died unexpectedly, Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at his home in Bridgton.
He was born on July 25, 1974, in Melrose, Mass., a son of, Arthur A. and Diane T. (Babin) Shortsleeves.
Robert moved to Maine at a young age where he attended schools in the Sacopee Valley school district and made some life-long friends. He spent most of his career in the restaurant business including 302 West Smokehouse
and Tavern, Ken’s Cove and most recently Vivo’s. His friends and family say that he was very loyal but his biggest gift was his huge heart. Besides the love for family and friends, Robert also enjoyed gardening, music like Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, ice fishing and cooking.
He is survived by his children; Asia Shortsleeves of Limerick, and John Howe of Oxford; siblings, Lori LaBranche and her husband Brian of North Port, Fla., Robin Giglietti and her husband Robert of Port Charlotte, Fla., Scott Shortsleeves and his wife Johnna of Parsonsfield, James Shortsleeves of South Portland, and John Shortsleeves of Conn.; nieces Skyleigh LaBranche, Sophie Shortsleeves, Natalie Shortsleeves, Nicole Shortsleeves and Paige Shortsleeves; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Diane Shortsleeves; his wife, Kelley Jo Shortsleeves; and his nephew Joseph Shortsleeves.
A memorial service celebrating Robert’s life will be held on Sunday, November 14 at Hall Funeral Home in Casco with a time of visitation starting at 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 12 p.m. Kind words may also be shared with his family and friends at www.hallfuneralhome.net.
