Bridgton Farmers’ Market
The Bridgton Farmers’ Market has been bringing the public fresh, local farm raised products and beautiful artisan made crafts and breads for over 25 years, and it is excited to share that once again, during the 26th season, they will be doing just that!
BFM would like to announce that hours of operation have changed to 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. this season. The Market does recognize that this is slightly shorter than in the past, but it will afford time for hard-working farmers and artisans to get home in time to do chores, unpack their wares and tend to their farms, bakeries and workspaces.
“Our wonderful customers have always shown us that they are flexible with changes and understanding (and what a year full of pandemic pivots we all had!), and we are continually thankful for that,” Market Officer Darcy Winslow said.
What other exciting changes are afoot at the Market? BFM has many new vendors this year to round out the market: Rock and Fortress Farm are bringing their nutrient-rich and flavorful microgreens, the Naturally Jammin’ booth is packed with honey-filled goodness, Hanson’s Garden will be bringing farm-fresh summer vegetables, Padruig Design features hand-made unique jewelry pieces and the freshly baked goods from Goodness ME are simply delectable! You’ll find all these new vendors tucked between your favorite returning farmers and artisans: Olde Mills Farm, Patch Farm, Rams Farm, Maine Morning Micro Roasters, Thunder Hill Farm, Bob Hatch Signs, High View Farm, Hosac Farm, A Country Flavor, Lollie Papa Farm and Banks Family Farm!
You’ll find the Bridgton Farmers’ Market on Saturdays, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Depot Street Green behind Renys. It is great to return, year after year, to this small piece of land amidst the beautiful town of Bridgton. To return to selling wares to wonderful diverse customers, those local and those visiting. BFM knows that while changes are made from time to time, that its fine customers will stick with the Market.
“Without your support, we couldn’t do what we do, and we are ever so grateful for you all.”
Here is to another wonderful season at the Market — see you on Saturday!
