Syracuse, N.Y. — Stephen Andrew Lyons Sr., 78, of Cleveland, N.Y. passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019, at upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., following a brief illness.

Steve spent most of his life self-employed as a tractor-trailer driver. On his off-time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Steve will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his loved ones.

He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Maxine Lyons; daughters, Cynthia and Lori Lyons of New York and Carol Mills of Alabama; sons, Stephen Lyons Jr. of Bridgton, David and Wayne Lyons of Harrison, Daniel Lyons of New Hampshire and Brian Lyons of Illinois; brothers, Gordon Lyons Sr. of New York, Charles Thompson of Colorado and Brad Lyons of Connecticut; sister, Beverley Thompson Paul of Harrison; 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
